Introducing New Fabrics For Pirouette Window Shadings

In the five years since Hunter Douglas introduced Pirouette window shadings, the product has continued to uphold its up to date fashion reputation.  Now, once again, it has done so with the addition of new fabrics and colors that are on target with the latest design trends.  Pirouette window shadings offer something for every decorating style and home decor by providing choices from luxurious sheers, simmering metallics, luminescent faux silks and natural yarns.

Recently, five new fabrics were added to the Pirouette product line:

  • Angelica- tinted sheers on both the front and back for saturated color and sheer elegance.
  • Shantung- the look and feel of raw silk.
  • Satin Metallic- sleek and subtle, with a silver, gold or copper overlay for an unexpected shimmer.
  • Bamboo Flax- contrasting yarns exude natural simplicity.
  • Cotton- highly textured fabric made from up to 80 percent recycled yarns.

In total, Pirouette shadings offer seven distinct fabrics and 65 stylish colors available in either semi-opaque or room-darkening opacities.  If the Invisi-Lift system is selected, the vanes on the shading appear to float in the window with superior view-through since there are no visible cords running through the fabric.  Additionally, the sheer backing on the fabrics block  up to 81 percent of harmful UV-rays and provide daytime privacy when the vanes are open.  The vanes can also be custom built to align among windows with varying heights from window to window when they are ordered in the same fabric and vane size.

All in all, Pirouette window shadings have once again maintained a fashion-forward reputation by expanding the selection of fabrics and colors to choose from, allowing greater flexibility to your design visions.
